18 May

Today was the perfect day to sit on the patio and read so I grabbed some books and headed for a comfy seat outside. If you are looking fore some books to read or just brows (my favorite type of reading) Then here is a beautiful book that you will never grow tired of flipping threw. “The Swedish Room” By Lars and Ursula Sjöberg.

The book is divided into time periods starting with Italian Baroque and ending with the French Empire and at the end there are three chapters outlining Spas ans summer houses, rural traditions and the past as inspiration. From the book cover: Lars Sjöberg  is an art historian and curator at the national Museum in Stockholm. He is well known as a meticulous restorer of historic Swedish interiors. Get the book here.
